Families in Global Transition (FIGT) mission is to bring together those involved with the unique world of global transition. It is the only US-based conference where representatives of the corporate, diplomatic, academic, military and mission sectors come to share cross-cultural coping strategies. This unique forum allows everyone to recognize the universal challenges of relocation and strategize on new methods and research.
Figt is hosting an International Conference on 4-6 March 2010 in Houston, Texas, and is calling for proposals to present a Concurrent Session, a Pre-conference Workshop, a Cracker Barrel, or a Research Poster.
Proposals can relate to the following subjects: What kinds of innovative programs and services help expatriate and repatriate family members? What can sponsoring organizations do to help families who stay at home during an employee's overseas assignment, whether short-term or longer in duration? etc'
Proposal deadline submission - SEPTEMBER 1ST 2009
